HOME VISIT

Students from Form VI visit the Senior Citizen’s Care Home Panchvati at Tughlakabad Extension, New Delhi, once in each term. All activities are planned in detail taking into consideration the needs and abilities of the senior residents. The students perform for the senior citizens and interact with them.

The aim of this programme is to sensitise students to the needs of and challenges faced by various sections of our community. By building awareness on social issues, the programme not only ensures understanding and empathy but also helps children realise how every individual can and must do his or her bit to bring about the required change. Sensitivity to human values and environmental concerns is the bedrock of the Social Initiatives Programme.
