The above words exemplify the spirit of the social initiatives programme at our school!

 

Students should associate with the larger ideal of a one-world community beyond geographical boundaries or boundaries of culture, gender, race, caste, religion, or economics.

 

At The Shri Ram School, it is our endeavour to develop in our students a spirit of serving the community so that the pain and angst of the other or the community as a whole is mitigated. Our students, through the various projects that they initiate and participate in, support the community and individuals in need.

We firmly believe that in giving and sharing do we also grow. Like a family, the tribulations of one are that of the other; but together, any challenge can be faced.

 

Empathy and Sensitivity are core values, and our effort, however small, can in some way help lighten the burden of tough times. All our initiatives, be it working with the marginalised in society, or raising funds to provide basic health care or food, are all aimed at the above goal.

 

So dear students, I urge you to stay with this greater purpose throughout your life, wherever you may be!

 

Remember always that when you give of yourself, when you are empathetic and sensitive, you grow and the world becomes a better place!

 

Give back from your heart and not for any gain!
